It’s been a wonderful week at the shelter. The adoption for Nellie, the shy, torbi catm has been finalized, and our other torbi girl, Annie, has been adopted as well. We couldn’t be happier.

Tinker, a young blue collar worker cat, has also been adopted and is moving to a garden to earn her keep.

Our pets of the week are Molly and Mia, two very friendly Guinea Pigs. Molly is fouryears old with brown and white markings. Mia is three-year-old calico with a black face. These girls are well socialized, sweet and come with a cage if needed. They are really awesome and so much fun.

Mark your calendars for the annual rabies clinic. The date is April 5 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the West Tisbury public safety building on State Road. The fee is $25 per pet; dogs must be leashed and cats in carriers. Remember to bring a copy of your previous rabies vaccination certificate.

The next nail clinic is scheduled for April 12 from 10 a.m. until noon. The fee is $20; walk ins only. Dogs must be leashed and cats, rabbits and Guinea pigs must be in carriers.
