Brunch, the Slow Food way, is heading to the Chilmark Community Center on Sunday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to noon. In addition to great tasting and nutritious food, there will be numerous exhibits and displays and four speakers discussing the topic Negotiating the Complexity of GMOs — Sourcing Seeds, Feeds & Foods. The speakers include Eric Glasgow of the Gray Barn, Jan Buhrman of Kitchen Porch Catering, Carol Koury from SowTrue Seed, and Martin Dagoberto of Massachusetts Right to Know (what is in your food).
The cost is $10 for members and $12 for nonmembers, available at slowfoodmarthasvineyard.org and at the door.
