Neva D. Thornhill died on Friday, Nov. 11 at her home in Vineyard Haven. She was 89.

Samuel (Sam) Tatelbaum died peacefully at Framingham Union-Metro West Hospital on Nov. 9 after a long illness. He was 71.

Sylvia V. Thomas of Edgartown died on Sept. 16 at the Royal Cotuit Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mashpee. She was 80.

Ingrid (Ting) Thomas died peacefully at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital on Sept. 6 after a long and determined battle with cancer. She was 80.

Scott E. Taplin died at his home in Manassas, Va. on July 30 from complications of cirrhosis. He was 55.

Marianne Thomas died at home on July 12. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Andrew’s Church in Edgartown on Monday, July 18 at 10 a.m.
