Jean Gatting died peacefully on the morning of Feb. 6.

Allan Gerson, a self-described dreamer whose family fled Nazi-occupied Poland under a false name, died Dec. 1.

A graveside service for Allan Gerson will be held on Thursday, Dec. 5, at 3 p.m. at the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Cemetery.

Joyce Gibson died on Sunday, Nov. 3 at the Henrietta Brewer House in Vineyard Haven. She was 86 and was the mother of Debra Dolliver.

Elizabeth Madden Guittar died on Sept. 18 at her home on Martha’s Vineyard, surrounded by family.

A celebration of life honoring Louis (Jim) Goodwin, who died Dec. 3, 2018, will be held at the Portuguese-American Club on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Dudley Hubbard Grimes died peacefully at home on May 18, surrounded by his family.

A memorial service for Jennifer Gardner will be held at the Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury on Saturday, May 18.

Lily Paula Godek died on April 24. She was 88.
