Paul Joseph (Zeke) Wilkins of Fort Ann, N.Y. died peacefully at home in the Adirondacks with family at his side on Jan. 19.

Robert Carter (Bob) Hayden Jr., who was dedicated to the research, recording and teaching of African-American history, died on Jan. 23.

Judith (Judy) Hatch-Perkins, formerly of Edgartown, died Dec. 19.

Kenneth A. Johnson, a resident of Bedford Corners, N.Y., and Edgartown, died Dec. 20.

Carlton D. Leaf of Chilmark died Jan. 21 at his home with family by his side.

Steve Myrick, a well-respected journalist who had been a reporter for the Gazette, died peacefully at home on Jan. 18.

Ross Carl Cowan died peacefully in Bedford on Nov. 18, 2021.

Kenneth Howard Neagle Jr., an artist, poet, naturalist, biologist and farmer, died peacefully on Jan. 13.
