Laurence A. Mercier, a former owner of the Chappaquiddick Ferry and a dedicated public servant in Edgartown, died at home on Sunday, Nov. 21.

Thomas (Alden) Norton, a Vineyard Haven native, died peacefully on Nov. 28 at the Windemere Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Louise Hoover Neuhoff, a Vineyard summer resident for more than 60 years, died on Nov. 18.

Diana (Daisy) Lewis died on the morning of Nov. 21 in Indianapolis, Ind.
