Riley Deeble, a longtime resident of West Tisbury, died Feb. 18. He was 94 and had deep Vineyard roots.

Joseph James Doherty of Salem died peacefully at home after a long illness on Tuesday, Feb. 9 with his fiancée Joanne Moar by his side. He was 82.

Agnes Louise (Blankenship) Luce of Edgartown died on Saturday, Jan. 30 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. She was 92.

Charles N. Greenaway died suddenly on Tuesday evening, Feb. 16 at his home in West Tisbury. He was 33.

Albert Lyon Scott Jr. of Berkeley, Calif., died on July 25, 2015, in Alameda, Calif. He was 102 and had lifelong ties to Martha’s Vineyard

Kathleen A. Chesk, formerly of Oak Bluffs and South Deerfield, died on Jan. 31. She was 72.

Ruthann (Duart) Ponte of Oak Bluffs died at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 13. She was 73.

Philip L. Swift of Oak Bluffs died at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital after a long illness. He was 65.

Shirley J. Krikorian died peacefully in her sleep Saturday, Feb. 13 in the care of Windemere Nursing Home. She was 91.
