Joan Wefald Norton died peacefully at the Martha's Vineyard Hospital on Feb. 10 at the age of 93 years, 9 months and 12 days.

Ralph Kirkham (Kirk) Safford 3rd of West Tisbury died in Boston on Jan. 10 with his wife Kristine by his side.

Richard T. Jennings of Vineyard Haven died on Feb. 18.

Mary Jo (Jody) Reston, longtime regional newspaper publisher and business manager on Martha's Vineyard, died at age 86 on Feb. 12 in Sarasota, Fla.
