Questions about the upcoming summer season began for Vineyard vacationers and homeowners alike. Steamship Authority came under fire for not requiring masks on ferries, and then reversed later in the week. One and two-person crews were allowed back to work Monday. And the last finger of the iconic cliffs at Lucy Vincent Beach tumbled into the ocean Friday night. This was the week on the Vineyard, May 1.
