For director Jeffrey Wolf, the screening of his new documentary is the culmination of a journey that began in the 1980s when he first encountered the art of Bill Traylor.
The Filmusic festival opens Thursday night at the Martha's Vineyard Film Center with Long Strange Trip, a documentary about the Grateful Dead, and closes on June 27 with Summer of Soul, the directorial debut of Questlove.
This year’s Spectrum (LGBTQ+) Film Festival produced by the Martha’s Vineyard Film Center will feature six films, a smaller selection than in previous years due to the pandemic.
