The boys hockey team has partnered with the Martha’s Vineyard Cancer Support Group to raise money through custom designed jerseys that will be worn during their game on Feb. 15.
Last weekend the Osprey hockey league hosted a tournament with a team from York, Me. The free girls league begins in preschool and runs through the eighth grade, helping girls stay invested in the sport until they get to high school.
A rivalry between police officers and firefighters heated up Saturday for the first annual Guns and Hoses hockey game, which raised $3,000 for Martha’s Vineyard Youth Hockey.
