The Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School boys swim team finished its historic season Sunday with a 16th place finish in the 200-meter freestyle relay at the state championship meet in Boston.
For the first time in the program’s 10-year history, the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School boys swim team won the Cape and Islands League title, breaking school records.
Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School sophomore Gabby Carr finished in the top 15 swimmers in two individual events at the Division 2 state meet Saturday night in Boston.
The varsity swim teams traveled to Bridgewater State University last weekend to compete in the 20th Bay Colony Conference championship meet, breaking several school records and in some cases earning spots in the South/Central Sectional Championships.
