The Vineyard Gazette has a new online address:

The change from will not cause any disruption to visitors accustomed to using the old web address. All traffic to the Gazette website and to individual stories that have appeared on it will be seamlessly redirected to the new site, said Jane Seagrave, publisher of the Vineyard Gazette Media Group.

“For people looking for our historic brand online, is just more intuitive. This move brings consistency to our print and online presence,” she said.

In addition to the name change, has added a powerful new search function that enables readers and researchers to search the Gazette’s online archive of news and photographs back to 2002.

The Vineyard Gazette website, redesigned in 2012, is now updated multiple times a day, seven days a week, with news, features, photographs, events and videos. In the past year, the site had more than 880,000 unique visitors.
