Filmmaker Barbarella and John Fokos will present their new documentary, Visions of Home: the Work of Heather Neill, on Friday, July 29 at the film center. The idea for the film began when Ms. Fokos purchased one of Ms. Neill's paintings at the Granary Gallery. There will be an artist reception for Ms. Neill on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Granary.

Pultizer Prize-winning author Junot Diaz and Grammy-nominated musician John Forte will be at Gallery Josephine in Oak Bluffs Friday night from 6 to 9 p.m. for a reading and concert. The evening is a benefit fundraiser for Martha's Vineyard Community Services.
