The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

August 11

Linycker V. Desouza, 28, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on July 6, 2021 charges in Oak Bluffs of disturbing the peace and resisting arrest. Defendant released after payment of $150 counsel fee. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 15.

Hillary C. Seaton, 45, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on an August 11 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery on a family or household member. Defendant released on personal recognizance and payment of $150 counsel fee. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 26.

August 18

Philip W. Cantelon, 51, of North Adams, was arraigned on an April 19 charge in Vineyard Haven of conspiracy to violate drug laws. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 14.

August 22

Mark T. Przybylo, 56, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on August 19 charges in Oak Bluffs of violating an abuse prevention order and intimidating a witness/juror/police or court official. Defendant released on personal recognizance and with further conditions to stay away from and have no contact with alleged victim and to be alcohol free and subject to screenings. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 8.

Wanda German, 45, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on an August 21 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault with a dangerous weapon. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 7. Defendant released on personal recognizance and with further condition to have no contact with alleged victim.

Meredith A. Salvo, 38, of Paoli, Pa., was arraigned on an August 19 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery. Defendant released after payment of $500 bail. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 28.

Melissa Melvin, 57, of Irvington, N.Y., was arraigned on August 20 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery and assault with a dangerous weapon. Defendant released on payment of $500 bail. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 4.

Artemis Joukowsky 3rd, 61, of Sherborn, was arraigned on August 21 charges in Oak Bluffs of trespassing, disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer and refusing to provide ID to a liquor licensed authority. Defendant released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 29.

August 25

Luciano Lopes-DeSouza, 37, of West Tisbury, was arraigned on August 19 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Defendant released upon payment of $100 bail, $150 counsel fee and $50 counsel contribution. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 10.

August 26

Woody E. Steves, 60, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on a Feb. 27 charge in Edgartown of threatening to commit a crime. Defendant released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 7.

Mark M. Street, 56, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on a July 28 charge of assault and battery on ambulance personnel. Defendant released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Oct. 7.

August 29

Wanda M. German, 45, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on an August 27 charge in Oak Bluffs of violating an abuse prevention order. Defendant released on personal recognizance. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 7.

Joseph Reyes, 37, of Upland, Ca., was arraigned on August 29 charges in Oak Bluffs of improper operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, a second offense of drunken driving and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Defendant released on personal recognizance and payment of $150 counsel fee. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 18.
