Nelson J. deBettencourt Jr. of Oak Bluffs died Oct. 29 at home, surrounded by his family.

Joseph Francis (Chuck) Duart 3rd of Vineyard Haven died on Sept. 18 at the Cape Cod Hospital.

Robert (Bob) Dutton, a writer, teacher, producer, actor, theatre and film buff, and friend to many, died at home on August 27.

Roland G. Dumais of Yarmouth Port died August 26 at the Cape Cod Hospital after a brief incident.

Dennis daRosa died August 20 after a yearlong battle with cancer. He was 71.

Lucy Louise Davis, formerly Lucy Valente, died on May 9. She was 95.

Calvin (Cal) Ridley Dodd died Feb. 12 at home, surrounded by family. He was born in Edgartown on Oct. 28, 1929.

David Garland Dutton Jr. died Jan. 20 in Oak Bluffs, surrounded by family.

Juanita Z. DuBose died on Jan. 24. She was 85.
