Clarence D. (Pops) Carter, a well-known resident of Oak Bluffs, died peacefully on Jan. 10.

Charles Edward Carlson Jr., a resident of Newtonville, N.Y. and Edgartown, died on Jan. 30 at his home in New York.

Nancy Lucille Cox, a Vineyard Haven resident since 1969, died peacefully at home on Feb. 27.

Sally Smith Cross, a longtime Chilmark homeowner, died on Feb. 2 in Concord.

Patricia Crosson died peacefully at her Martha's Vineyard home on Jan. 9 after a long illness.

Phyllis Hayward Chase died of natural causes on Jan. 28 at Windemere Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
