Lawrence E. (Larry) Bombara, died Sept. 20 at home in Douglas. He was 70.

Joseph Francis (Chuck) Duart 3rd of Vineyard Haven died on Sept. 18 at the Cape Cod Hospital.

Steven John Milkovich of Edgartown, died on Sept. 22. He was 55.

William Dean Holtham died at his home in Kingfield, Me., on Sept. 10. He was 71.

Frank S. Yeomans of Chilmark died of natural causes on Sept. 2. He was 80.

Lucille Gardner Whitman died in St. Petersburg, Fla., on August 17 after a brief illness. She was 91.

Richard James (Dick) Walton died unexpectedly on June 1. He was 74.

Former New Hampshire Gov. Stephen Everett Merrill died at his home on Sept. 5, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 74.

David Mayoh Lawton of Portsmouth, R.I., and East Chop died peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 5.
