Mariana Aguayo Gill of Vineyard Haven died at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston on Sunday, Jan. 15.

Jonathon Hitesman, a former Edgartown resident, died on Jan. 11 in Wellington, Fla. He was 66.

Services for Lynn C. Murphy of Chilmark will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, at Abel's Hill Cemetery.

Harry Ryder, formerly of William street in Vineyard Haven, died at his home in Lancaster, N.H. on Nov. 21, 2016. He was 85.

Frances V. Resendes, a true “Island Girl,” died Jan. 3 at her Herring Creek Road home. She was 97.

Cheryl Barbara (CB) Stark, 70, died peacefully at her home in West Tisbury on Jan. 2, with family and friends by her side.

Cheryl B. Stark died at her West Tisbury home on Monday, Jan. 2. She was 70.

Patricia N. Barry of West Hartford, Conn. died Monday, Jan. 2. She was 93.
