Ralph J. Jones of West Tisbury died at Massachusetts General Hospital on Nov. 30. He was 93.

Claudio Gasparini was born in 1957 and raised in the Friuli region of northern Italy.

Meredith E. (Redi) Gelinas of Jupiter, Fla., died Nov. 24.

Marilyn Spitz Abrams, who spent summers on the Vineyard for more than 40 years, died at home in Palo Alto, Calif.

John T. (Jack) Lesperance of Gardner died unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 10, while vacationing in Costa Rica. He was 77.

Anne Virginia (Ginny) Langley of Edgartown and Naples, Fla., died peacefully after a brief illness on Monday, Nov. 21. She was 85.

Frederic Arthur Sonnenberg of The Villages, Fla., and Oak Bluffs died at home on Nov. 25, surrounded by his family. He was 84.

John Howard VanPutten, 46, died peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 27 at his home in Vineyard Haven.

Karen Elizabeth Packish died at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital on Nov. 22. She was 63.
