David Carlisle Thompson died peacefully on Jan. 11 at his home on Fuller street in Edgartown following a period of declining health.

James L. Novack of West Tisbury died Jan. 15 following a long illness. He was 73.

Florencio John (Sonny) Mendez of Woodside Village in Oak Bluffs died on Jan. 17 at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was 78.

Beth Ann Saint-Amour died Jan. 5 at Massachusetts General Hospital.
