Easing along the path of a milkweed leaf. Tim Johnson

Mid August already. This summer seems to speed by and we should make no mistake about this. To tarry is to lose precious time. Already the long shadows of dusk arrive earlier; sunrise breaks a bit later and the days grow shorter. Today we claim thirteen hours, one minute and twenty-two seconds of daylight, tomorrow there is one minute and twenty-one seconds less.

Hurry, lest the season and Island time pass you without notice.

You have done it again, fabulous photos....poignant, reminiscent, nostalgic, evocative of earlier days on the island; thanks for the lovely Sunday mornings, you all are appreciated.
