In a year like no other, the regional high school football team gets ready to start its season when it takes on Sandwich on March 14. The first home game is March 27.

Girls basketball and hockey wrapped up their seasons last week after facing Sandwich and Barnstable in the Cape and Islands League tournament.

After losing their home opener to Sandwich on Thursday, the boys basketball team rebounded on Friday to beat the Falmouth Clippers 68-55.

The MIAA approved a tentative schedule this week that will allow most fall high school sports to begin Sept. 18. The exceptions are football, cheerleading and unified basketball.
