The Vineyard boys tennis team continued its dominant run in postseason play by sweeping Boston Latin Academy 5–0 Monday afternoon to advance to the quarter finals of the division three championship.
Spring postseason action is underway for Vineyard high school student-athletes and the track and field team kicked things off with a strong showing at the Cape and Islands League championship last week in Barnstable.
Tiffany McCarty moved to the Vineyard in 2022 to be the director of nursing at Windemere Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Right away she began looking into ways to revitalize the softball program on the Island.

Spring sports are back in action at the high school and the weather isn’t the only thing heating up on the Island as the baseball team thumped Nantucket 10-0 on opening day Saturday and kept it rolling for a 6-1 win over Dennis Yarmouth on Tuesday.
