The heat and humidity at last yielded to the crisp, cool feeling of an early autumn day in Aquinnah.

Another week of beautiful weather in Aquinnah. Apparently it rained one night over the weekend but I missed the thunder and lightning. The greenery is still abundant.

There is a lot happening at the Aquinnah Public Library. On August 17 at 10:30 a.m. there will be a special story time with Kate Feiffer. Kate has written eleven children’s books and will read Henry the Dog with No Tail and other favorites.

The library also hosts a slow yoga class on Wednesday afternoons from 4 to 5, running through the rest of August.

Grateful for a few cool breezes in Aquinnah over the weekend with temperatures in the high 80s, which is unusual for around here.
