Here’s one for the Now I’ve Seen It All Collection.

Usually I write my column on my computer sitting at my desk. This time I’m writing the column on my iPad sitting on a rock in the shade at the edge of the Grand Canyon.

By the time the Gazette hits the newsstands on Friday I will have spent the first half of my two-week trip to the West Coast.

The months of July and August are a mixed blessing. I usually dread them. In order to survive those two hectic months on the Island I figure that I will need two weeks off the Island.

Time is flying by. The eighth grade graduation is next Friday, June 15.

On Sunday June 3, there will be only one Chappy ferryboat in service. It will be the shorter of the two so expect a delay.

The Chappy ferry will begin operating on the summer schedule beginning on the Thursday before the Memorial Day weekend.
