With Labor Day comes the unofficial end to the summer season. Cars and crowds queued up at the ferry terminals today for an unofficial exodus. The SeaStreak ran two boats from Oak Bluffs to New York city Monday to accomodate the large crowds.

The cars were polished, impeccable and, above all, classic on Main street, Vineyard Haven Sunday when the Tisbury Fire Association Car Show rolled into town. The road was blocked off to traffic from 1 to 4 p.m. so that strollers could take in the sight of classic cars and hogs.
