The seasons have changed from summer to autumn; you can feel it in the air.

The first week of October is peak falcon time on Martha’s Vineyard.

Lanny McDowell and Pete Gilmore came across a sad scene on Sept. 14 as they walked along the path between Moshup Trail and Moshup Beach.

It must be September! The peak of migration is here and birds are widespread across the Island.

Birds can fly. We know that. But some birds do more than fly; they dip and dart and make very acrobatic moves in the air.

Birders will flock to the Gay Head Cliffs for the next month or two, especially in the early morning.
