Is it the lingering spring cold or allergies to the increasing pollen? Who knows? We all sound the same. Take good care.

Many reports from my Island friends note that hummingbirds are returning to all our towns. Hopeful news!

It was an action-packed week. Many visitors were on Island for Easter, spring break and looking for summer jobs, and the weather has finally taken a nice turn to sunny and warm temperatures.

The weather reminds me of a see-saw. I’m thinking our drought has ended.

In like a lion, out like a lion. This is March on Martha’s Vineyard.

We are riding the usual roller coaster of spring weather here in the northeast. As we approach April it seems things are settling down a bit. There is plenty to do now on the Island so turn your collar up to the wind and get out there.

Our town library is preparing to close this Friday March 14. while they move books to prepare for the contractors coming in to add an addition. Stay tuned.

Yay, the school buses are back. I hope all our kids and teachers had a great week off.

The sound of school buses not stopping at my corner twice a day this week is deafening. I miss it so. I am sure our kids are enjoying their week off.

Two snowstorms in one week! My turkey friends came along in a flock of 22 after the first snowfall.
