Is it really time to fall back tomorrow? I’m tired of falling, I do way too much of it. Adjust your clocks or you will be off schedule for church on Sunday.
Great new things in our town: the Tisbury Public Works sign has been replaced with a lovely new sign. I was just on the verge of calling Fred LaPiana to tell him the old sign was unreadable. You can view this new piece of art on High Point Road off State Road.
The library parties, for kids and grownups, were simply fantastic last Wednesday night. Wednesday was also a very special day for the Rotarians who hold their lunch meeting weekly. The speaker was Warren Pettit, who presented a most interesting talk on his photography done by remote control helicopter. This is not an inexpensive hobby, but a very rewarding one. Now there’s a unique gift for one of your loved ones for Christmas!
Doesn’t the new hospital look great? I am still confused when I go in there, but it looks like the end is near. Wish I could say the same for the bridge.
Beautiful weather, and beautiful friends are visiting. Bill and Jan Stokes are here. Mareda Gaither-Graves is expecting to come up after she gives her concert in Russian in New York. My new baby, Teddy Paul Bruschi Kennedy Gardella, is adapting well to the dogs and enjoying the first autumn of his little feline life.
Shirley Cronig Smith enjoyed a great visit from Jeffrey Kramer of Jaws fame and Victoria Kramer, along with their three sons, Jordan, Jaxson and Jeremy. They made the big trip from California to get a swipe at our New England summer. Shirley had a great time, as did the Kramer clan. Same time, next year.
