The Tabernacle was transformed into a carousel of local art Monday for this year’s All Island Art Show, an opportunity for Vineyard artists to show off their best work and win prizes.
The Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs became a temporary gallery Monday for artists of all genres and ages as the All Island Art Show returned for its 65th year.
More than 70 artists gathered Monday at the Tabernacle to participate in the 60th annual All Island Art Show. The exhibition featured artists across mediums and skill levels.
Amateur and professional artists alike are invited to show and sell their work at the annual All Island Art Show held at the Oak Bluffs Tabernacle on August 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The All-Island Art Show awarded Elizabeth Greene best in show honors for her collage entry. Known for promoting local artists since its inception in 1956, the art show annually attracts a wide range of talent.
Every summer since 1958, the Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs has been the proud host of the All Island Art Show. Artists are on hand to explain what inspires them, even to the young kids racing about the Camp Ground on bicycles and scooters.
