This is school break week. Many families headed for America, on a working boat, of course. I’m proud to be with the staycation crowd.

We all know the drill by now. Bread, milk, toilet paper. Shower now in case we lose heat. Run dishwasher, clothes washer, dryer now before we lose electricity. Charge your cell phones and check your flashlights. I feel like I am camping again.

Monsoon season continued But as I write this on Wednesday I think we are coming out of it. Sunny, warmer, and windy.
