Don’t forget that Sunday morning we will return to Daylight Saving Time, so turn your clocks ahead Saturday night before bed so you will not be late for church. The sun will be setting around 6:30 p.m.
February was one of the warmest months since record keeping began in 1882. We did have two decent snowstorms, rain, wind, and a real cold blast but that was it. It was 69 degrees last Friday afternoon.
Well it sure will be like a ghost town all week mainly because of the school’s winter vacation.
Well this month has been a bugger: cold, snow (including thunder snow), power outages and many boat cancellations. We are heading into a long weekend as Monday is President’s Day.
Sunday night was the most exciting Super Bowl game ever.
It’s been a mild winter with above-average temperatures. We had two snow events of about 20 inches, a few bitterly cold days and that has been it so far.
The weekend weather was not unreasonable for this time of year. The big news was the Women’s March on Washington last Saturday and the vast number of people that attended.
It is clear that the winter blahs have set in. We are less than two short months away from the start of Daylight Saving Time and spring.
We had our first significant snowfall of the season last weekend. On Friday about six inches of white fluffy stuff, and a real whopper of a snowstorm the next day.
