The weather for July has been fantastic, with few rainstorms. We had at least three days with a temperature nearly 90 degrees, high humidity for a good part of the month and a lot of sun.
The weekend weather was great. The Saturday farmers markets have been fantastic and choked the town with lines of traffic.

Welcome to summer and all the people it brings along with it. Traffic is heavy everywhere, even over at the landfill. The weather cooperated over the long holiday weekend.

Father’s Day was wonderful, just perfect for outdoor barbecues, beaches and all kinds of surprises.
Well the weather last weekend was mixed. Excellent summerlike day on Saturday and mostly rain showers on Sunday
The long holiday weekend begins Friday and many people will be coming to town to spend the weekend and/or open their summer homes. It also signals the start of the summer season. Last weekend’s weather was ideal. Monday is the Memorial Day holiday; there will be a parade and traditional observances down in Vineyard Haven. Town buildings and the post office will be closed. If the swans return to the Mill Pond it will surely make it feel like summer is arriving shortly.
The weekend weather was not much different than the weather for the whole week, it rained off and on. The boat schedule changed on Tuesday, the port of Oak Bluffs is now open and you can already feel the increased traffic on the roads in town.
