This is the time of year when you dress in layers.

Last weekend we had some nice warm weather.

We had a nice misty rain and it rained all day Tuesday, but we only got less than a half inch.

It is still a little hot but for the most part we have had some nice weather and, of course, some much-needed rain.

We could not have asked for better weather over the past weekend.

Finally, the relief we needed from the heat. The sky has been that beautiful blue.

I am listening to the last of the thunder and lightning and watching the rain fall, which was all too short.

I am sitting here listening to the glorious rain falling.

I hope by the time you are reading this we have found relief from the heat wave.

Sun, mild and warm breezes seem to be the theme of the summer so far.
