The forsythia is in full bloom, as are the dogwood trees and magnolias. There are daffodils galore and the Dreamcatcher at Aquinnah Circle is in the process of opening on May 22.

The daffodils are in bloom, pinkletinks in full chorus, deer all over, and rabbits running in circles. Spring has arrived.

Well, spring has sprung but with a light dusting of snow over the weekend just to remind us that winter is really not over yet. Most of the snow has melted except for the massive snowbanks along some of the roads. A few more weeks and it will all disappear.

The weather is improving, with a heat wave on Monday when the temperature reached 46 degrees. On March 12, it literally snowed the entire day not stopping for one minute. It was a light snowfall and the accumulation was not as significant as in February, but enough of the snow for this season. Of course, you often achieve what you wish for — a spring thaw thus over the weekend, most areas were mud-filled.
