Wednesday is the first of May when baskets may be hung on your door and May pole celebrations and dances announce the arrival of warmer weather and finally send old Jack Frost on vacation.

Patriot’s Day is Monday and all town buildings will be closed. At last spring weather has arrived last weekend. Most everyone in town was out either cleaning up or gardening.

Well, winter is officially over and spring has arrived.

Spring will be here in just five days. People are slowly adjusting to Daylight Saving Time.
