The Charles Morgan has come and gone. Ah, what a beautiful sight in our Vineyard Haven harbor. Unfortunately, I was unable to get on it, but it certainly improved the view every time I drove by.
During his years of service, Edson Rodgers had played in the Navy band, so nothing would do but to have the North East Navy Band perform on Flag Day, and to mark the 50th anniversary of the dedication of War Veterans Memorial Park.

Our senior centers and the Center for Living are doing a wonderful job with adult day care programs. Unfortunately, the program is moved from center to center because we do not have a single location large enough for daily use.
