The word of the week was "perfect."
On Sunday — Father's Day — I was sitting in a chair with a sweater on and a blanket on my lap while I was writing.
We have been lucky that we have had sunshine, beautiful skies and a nice breeze.
Typical June weather. Fog, cloudy, not too hot.
We had great sun and nice breezes and we didn't melt with unbearable heat.
I don't want to curse the weather but the T-shirts and flip flops came out this weekend.
The rule for turning off the heat on April 1 has been completely broken and if you are following that rule, you sure are the better person.
There is a saying about the month of May: "It may rain, it may snow, it may be 70 degrees, it may be 20 degrees."
The weather roller coaster is still going. Last weekend we were in shirtsleeves, the birds are chirping earlier, and my favorite, blanket on and blanket off.
