We made it through Elsa and now it is a little cooler, but the warm weather is on its way again.
Fourth of July weekend and some had their heat on. It was damp, raining, and cold.
Everyone is in a heat wave and it has been warm and humid but we have been lucky to have a nice breeze blowing and keeping it all bearable.
It has been my favorite weather. Warm enough to wear capris and sandals. There has been a great breeze to keep it cool enough if you wanted long sleeves and jeans. It won't be long before the humidity sets in and makes the heat lovers happy. New England keeps everyone happy.
Mother Nature is still playing with us. It has been a mixed-up few weeks. We turned on the heat one day as the wind and rain was so cold. Now the humidity is on its way, so the roller coaster is still going strong.
We had rain, lots of rain in one day, we had heat, now we have fog and heat. Welcome to June. While Edgartown sat in fog, the other towns had beautiful sunshine. But this is our norm so we should be used to this.
The weekend weather was windy, soggy and cold. Cookouts were canceled and the beach was definitely out. But the towns were busy and people made the best of the weekend.
On Sunday it was shorts, tank top and flip flops. On Monday it was jeans, long-sleeved shirt, flip flops optional.
As per usual the warm weather has arrived quickly.
