It is snowing again. It is winter, but the weather has been warm enough to keep us happy. But the snow keeps us grounded that it is still winter.
For awhile on Monday night I thought we were going to need an ark, but we did okay. The wind blew hard and there was a swimming pool in front of the Stop & Shop that I am sure took a long time to drain.
I am sitting here listening to the rain drops on the windows thinking how peaceful it is and calming.
Did someone say snow? Yes we got a little. It was exciting, it was pretty and the kids certainly enjoyed it.
Well there was no snow for Christmas but we had a warm week. Now we just sit and wait to see what happens for the rest of the winter.
I really don’t have to say anything about the weather.
I don’t think there were too many unhappy people in town this weekend.
On Friday head to Donaroma’s for the Enchanted Forest event. I like to call it the Grand Opening of Christmas in Edgartown.
We are getting some much needed rain. We can take it and get the ground water up and help the drought situation and fill the ponds.
